Mens Fraternity

Excitement is off the charts as plans are being made for a fourth consecutive year of Men's Fraternity!
WHAT: What is Men's Fraternity? Be a MAN! Come and learn what it means to be a man. You will discover that there is a plan and purpose for you life!
WHEN: Currently two groups are meeting on Wednesdays. The larger of the two meets at 6:00 am and the other group meets at 4:00 pm.
FORMAT: Meet and greet, donuts and coffee, watch an inspiring teaching geared solely for men, discuss and head out the doors in time to get to work!
TOPICS/SUBJECTS: What it means to be a man. How to be a man in Today's world. How to be a better father, husband, grandpa, etc. How to be a better employee, boss, etc.
BENEFITS: You will get a lot of practical ideas to use every day, every week, every month. You will be encouraged and you will encourage others. This program is one of the very best things that this church does!
DURATION: 1st semester runs from late September to the middle of December. 2nd semester starts early to mid-January & finishes in late March-early April.
COST: For the whole year is approx. $5-10 for all materials.

Be a Host Family
|
Lead pastor David Clark will be launching an exciting new series in the fall. The desire will be to get our whole church to go through 40 days of the material together. That way, we will not just hear the teachings we'll be living them out on a daily basis. If you have a TV and DVD player and can read through a list of a few questions you could be one of the host families for this six-week spiritual experience! We would love to have host families in Beloit, but also across the state line in Illinois, up in Janesville and throughout the area. Some of you already are host families and lead groups every week and we are very grateful for your loyal and consistent ministry.
Whether you already lead or are now willing to be a host family, PLEASE respond to this request as soon as you can. Contact Jeff Mayfield at the church 608-362-7663 or by e-mail at jeffmayfield@centralwired.com to let him know that you are willing to be a host family for six weeks. This study will likely launch the first week of October and be finished the middle of November, freeing you up for the holidays. We would love to see this be a church-wide event and we hope to enlist more host families than we can use! Call or e-mail today and let us know that you're excited and willing to help!

Temptation is like bait on a hook. Satan will bait the hook with anything enticing enough to get you to bite, then he will reel you into death. Jesus was under fire from Satan in every way that we are, except He never sinned. Jesus fought the fire of hell with the fiery Sword of God's Word. The truth is: Satan can't stand the heat. Jesus is our victorious Warrior-King, who leads us to victory over the evil that assaults us.
