CSM (Central Student Ministry) is our jr. high and high school ministry (grades 6-12), a place where teenagers can explore their faith and find a community of peers and leaders to walk alongside during the best (and worst) parts of growing up.
Our hope for our community is simple – that we would connect, grow, and go.
Our heart is to make CSM the kind of place where no one stands alone. During weekend worship gatherings, we sit together in sections with other students. During the week, we meet together at Central to hang out, have fun, worship together, study the Bible, connect about life, and pray for each other. We invite you to come exactly as you are. You don’t have to believe what we believe to belong as a part of the community.
We believe God’s heart for His people is to help them take steps forward to become more and more the people that He’s created them to be. We don’t believe God’s asking us to get our acts together, but He is absolutely inviting us to grow little by little. Through weekly messages, worship, and small group discussions, we invite God to help us take those next steps.
God isn’t just restoring and transforming each of us – we believe He’s restoring and transforming the whole world, and He’s inviting us to take part! We love to serve our neighbors in need locally and globally. We also reach out to our family and friends to share everything that God has done in our lives with them.
PARENTS ARE A VITAL KEY in accomplishing our hope for this community. CSM views the relationship with parents as a partnership where we work together to accomplish the task of training our young people.
If you are in grades 6-12 then we would love for YOU to join us on Wednesday nights. Junior High students in grades 6-8 meet at 6:00 p.m. High School students in grades 9-12 meet at 7:30 p.m. Check-in is in the Family Life Center lobby.
