Following Jesus is a lifetime of learning opportunities. We believe that God stretches us through participating in environments of spiritual growth that include: learning from teaching or study groups, serving by reaching out to the community or serving here in the church. We have many opportunities for you to both grow and serve.

Career Support Team
This team meets on the First and Third Wednesday of each month from 10am-11am in Room F210-1. Our purpose is to provide networking, prayer, and support to anyone who has lost their job, or has a loved one who is struggling with job loss. Through our time together, and through the testimony of many individuals who have been involved in this group, we have learned what a mighty God we serve. He cares so much when we experience job loss, but He cares even more that we grow close to Him in the struggle, coming face to face with Jesus. For more information, contact 362.7663 x 37, or email@example.com.

Surrendering the Secret -
Healing the Heartbreak of Abortion
43% of women of childbearing age have experienced an abortion. That is 1 out of every 3 women. Many struggle with repressed memories, guilt, shame, and depression.
Surrendering the Secret is an 8 week course designed to bring healing to women who have abortion in their past. Millions of women hold this secret deep inside and many are suffering the consequences. Surrendering the Secret allows women who need help to connect with women who can help.
If you don't think you need healing from your own abortion experience, Surrendering the Secret is a place to offer help and encouragement to someone who does.
I am the mother of 3 boys.
Back in 1983 I was in a relationship with a guy I thought I was going to marry and
live happily ever after. However when I found out I was pregnant he and his
mother said I couldn’t keep the baby and abortion was the only answer Planned
Parenthood had for me. We went to a place in Madison for the procedure. The
only thing I was told is it would be over in a few minutes and it would be behind
me. It has never been behind me. I have had a lifetime of physical, emotional
and relationship issues relating to my abortion.
After finding Surrendering The Secret I was finally able to heal. This is an eight
week study group that is open to anyone who has had an abortion or has been
affected by abortion.
I was able to write and talk about what I went through and to speak openly to
others while helping me to heal. So much of what I went through I stuffed down
inside and didn’t deal with at all. I was able to understand choices I had made
over my life since the abortion and how they related.
Most importantly I was able to go through the grieving process with the loss of
my child. I’m thankful for this class and the friends I have made its really
important to be open and I find every time I help with the class it helps me to heal
even more. Anonymous
